Recruited the first 53 patients in the AQUAS registry

This is a prospective multicentric study to asses safety and efficacy (focusing on first pass effect) of thrombectomy using a combination of Acandis Aperio stentriever and MIVI Super Q aspiration catheters. Both, unique devices that already provided promising results on single center experiences. AQUAS starts with participants from Spain, Portugal and Chile but more countries are expected to come in. Thanks to Dr Sebastià Remollo Friedemann, Head of Neurovascular Unit at Germans Trias i Pujol Hospital (Barcelona) as Study PI and Dr Pedro Vega Valdés, Head of Neurovascular Unit at HUCA Hospital (Oviedo) as Study Independent Corelab.
