TRELLIX\u00ae system is made up of a spiral-shaped platinum structure with morphology and sizes between 3 mm and 16 mm in diameter. This metallic structure is covered with a \u201csmart polymer\u201d patented by the manufacturer, which has the property of increasing its volume up to 2.5 times when exposed to an watery \u00a0environment (blood) and body temperature (36\u00ba-37\u00ba). All sizes of TRELLIX\u00ae can navigate through a 0.021\u201d lumen microcatheter.<\/p>\n<p>Features:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This polymer, in addition to a volume-occupying effect, provides a framework for the patient&#8217;s blood and tissue cells to colonize and form a repair tissue and neointima that closes the aneurysmal sac or vascular malformation<\/li>\n<li>They are released by an instantaneous electrolytic system that is applied through a disposable remote<\/li>\n<li>The special properties of its spiral, made of platinum, give it maximum stability in the bag, maximum radio-opacity and
